There are a ton of emotions that fly at me when I finish up final edits on a book. I’m obviously thankful that the ‘hard work’ of writing is over. I’m tired and ready for a vacation. I’m nervous that I missed something in the editing process. I’m afraid no one will like it.
But I think the most important feeling is HOPE.
When I wrap up writing a book, I’m hopeful that I’ve done something good. I’m hopeful that people like it. I’m hopeful that I’m carving out my place in the world of authors.
And hope is always a good thing.
